Chris Weaver Band--Blues and Rock and Roll

Every once in a while cities produce bands that are above the bar. Chris Weaver Band plays cover songs around town at crowded venues like The Stage and Tin Roof on their busiest nights because they continuously pack in the people who want to listen to Chris belt out some of the best interpretations of popular music in this city. If your lucky and listening closely, you will also hear CWB play a great song you may have never heard before. It is probably one of their originals like Standing in Line featured in this, Promote Nashville's first, blog entry.

One of my favorite things about CWB is that they don't have a set-in-stone list of songs, so every show is different. Tom Petty almost always comes up and you'll never get through a night without hearing Nashville's favorite Journey cover. One of 2008's most popular songs by Kid Rock, All Summer Long, seems to also grace every show, too.

The Chris Weaver Band is currently available for private events, so invite them to your party and be able tell folks "I knew them when..."

Weaver and his band mates are well above the bar, even for the cutthroat town of Nashville. They play almost every Friday at Tin Roof2 in Franklin, Saturday at Tin Roof in Nashville, and Sundays at The Stage. All shows start at 10pm.
